Moody Museum - Taylor, TX

We are so pleased with the Climate Seal interior storm windows we installed in the Moody Museum. They have done exactly what we needed them to do. They have blocked air leakage, humidity and heat as well as dust that was a constant problem with the original windows in our museum. Our museum is located in a Victorian home built in 1887 and the original windows needed to be preserved but were no longer sufficient for the purpose of preserving the contents of our historic building.

The weekend after the interior storm windows were installed they saved us from a potential disaster. Something broke one of the upstairs window panes on a storm day. The broken glass rested inside the storm window and was easily removed. More importantly, no moisture got into the room.

I recommended them to some other museum professionals during an online gathering of the historic homes affinity group that is a part of the American Association for State and Local History. None of them had any idea that such a thing existed. One participant in the online chat is an architect and she asked for details about the source of the windows we installed.
